About the ISPS Handa Cup  

    The ISPS Handa Cup is an international team competition featuring LPGA Legends born in the USA vs. the rest of the world. It is similar to the Solheim Cup but professionals on the Legends Tour are all 45 years and older and include many LPGA Hall of Famers. This is the 10th year anniversary of the Cup which will be held at the Palm Aire Country Club in Sarasota, Florida. Team USA has won seven of the nine contests held to date. This year Team USA is captained by 48 time LPGA Champion Nancy Lopez and Team World is captained by 15 time LPGA Champion Sally Little. Other participants are expected to include Juli Inkster, Pat Bradley, Laura Davies and Jan Stephenson. The practice round will be held on Thursday November 12th and the two days of tournament competition will be held on Friday November 13th and Saturday November 14th and the starting time for each round is 9 AM. Tickets are available for $12 for a “good any one day” pass for each of the three rounds and $25 for a “3 day all tournament” pass.  In honor of Veterans Day all active military will be admitted free with valid ID and children under 12 will be admitted free as well. Finally, a portion of the proceeds of the event will be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which among other services, provides college scholarships to the children of fallen Special Operations Forces.
