Q. When is the event?
A. Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 7:00pm – 11:00pm
Q. What is the purpose of the event?
A. This event is a fundraiser hosted by and for the East Falls Development Corporation, a non-profit dedicated to community-based economic development for the benefit of East Falls.
Q. What does the event ticket include?
A. This year there are three level of event tickets
General Admission
- Entry at 7:00pm
- Complimentary beer and wine
- Entry at 7:00pm
- Access to the Handcrafted Lounge serving specialty cocktails
- Complimentary beer and wine
- Entry at 6:00pm
- Access to the Handcrafted Lounge serving specialty cocktails

Q. How do I receive my ticket?
A. After you purchase your ticket online, you will receive an email confirmation from - danceonfallsbridge@completeticketsolutions.com. The email will contain a copy of your receipt and your electronic, print-at-home ticket. This ticket is what you will utilize to gain entry into the event. Please present this ticket at the entry gate to be scanned for admission. Please save the email address above in your contacts, avoiding the ticket going to your spam/junk folder.
Q. What is the address I should use for Uber/Lyft pickup/drop-off?
A. Kelly Drive will be closed at the Falls Bridge, please utilize 3740 Calumet Street Philadelphia, PA 19129 as the address when utilizing Uber/Lyft. The Kelly Drive side of the bridge is the only entry/exit into the event so please utilize the address provided. Please click here for a google map of the location for pickup/drop-off for reference as Kelly Drive will be closed at the Falls Bridge for cars.
Q. What is the Handcrafted Lounge?
A. The Handcrafted Lounge is a reserved area featuring complimentary specialized cocktails, beer and wine. This is a reserved area, guests must purchase a Handcrafted Lounge pass to access this area.
Q. Where do I enter the event?
A. All guests must enter and exit the bridge from the Kelly Drive side. The address is

NOTE: The bridge will be closed to traffic as you make your way to the dance, so please plan accordingly
Q. What do I need to bring to enter the event?
A. To enter, please have the following ready
- Either a printed or electronic version of the ticket sent via email after purchase
- Valid state issued photo ID
Q. What is the layout of the bridge?
A. Below is a breakdown of locations for various experiences (list is subject to change at the sole discretion of the Dance on the Falls Bridge committee). Starting from the main entry gate on the Kelly Dr. side across to the MLK side of the bridge.
Main Entry
- There are multiple gates for entry on the 4300 Kelly Drive side of the bridge (this is the main entrance and only point of entry/exit).
Handcrafted Lounge
- Located just past the main entry gate, a Handcrafted Lounge pass is required to enter this area
- Located about midway on the bridge, you must have Chalet wristband to access this area
- The main stage will feature The Sofa Kings, located just past the Chalet area
- Reserved Tables will be located past the Main Stage area before the Food Court. Wristband required for access to this area.
- Food Trucks will be located on the MLK side of the bridge; all guests have access to the Food Court and all food offerings (all food is available for purchase).
Q. Where will the complimentary beer and wine bars be located?
A. This year, to reduce lines and make it easier for guests to access beverages, the Dance on the Falls Bridge will have complimentary beer and wine bars positioned in several areas along the bridge.
Q. Where is parking located?
A. We encourage everyone to drink responsibly and plan accordingly. If you plan to consume alcohol at the event, please consider using public transportation, taxi, Uber, Lyft, or designate a sober driver in your group.
- Parking Lot at 4100 Ridge Avenue - $1.75/hour (note: this is a small lot and may fill up quickly)

Q. What is a Chalet Tent?
A. A Chalet Tent is a designated 10’x10’ tent for your group, located in the center of the bridge with controlled access. All eight Chalet Tents offer soft furniture and a high-top table with logo placement in your designated Chalet. In addition, the Chalet area will feature a private bar with complimentary beer, wine and limited spirits. Each Chalet allows up to ten guests, the Chalet purchase does not include tickets, each guest must purchase a ticket to the event. The Chalet host (whomever purchases the chalet) will receive ten (10) wristbands to distribute to their guests when they check-in. Wristbands are required for access to the Chalet area.
Q. How does the Reserved Table work?
A. A Reserved Table does NOT include tickets — you must purchase a ticket to enter the event. You can add on a Reserved Table for $200 when purchasing your ticket (there are a limited number available; you must purchase in advance of the event). Each Reserved Table includes a total of 10 wristbands for access to your designated table, so if you gather a group of 10 people who want to share a table, only one person needs to purchase the table. If you purchase a table, you will be shown to your table the night of the event. Reserved tables will also be designated with signs.
Q. Does the event ticket include food?
A. The event ticket does not include food. Food trucks will be located on the MLK side of the bridge for guests to purchase fare from some of the city’s best food trucks.
Q. Can I bring in Outside Food and/or Beverage?
A. No. In addition, the Dance on the Falls Bridge has the following policies:
- This is a 21+ event, all event attendees will be carded at registration
- The EFDC is not responsible for items lost or stolen
Q. What type of music will be played?
A. This year the Dance will feature The Sofa Kings! They’re a high-energy ten-piece band that play a wide range of dance-inspiring tunes. Check out their song list here. In addition, The Dance has added a DJ located in the Chalet area of the bridge to spin Top 40 and house mix in between the Sofa Kings sets.
Q. Do I need to bring cash?
A. It is recommended to bring cash for food trucks and other specialty items for purchase throughout the evening. More details will follow as we get closer to the event.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Whatever makes you want to dance! The dance is a semi-formal event with a casual flare (hey, there are food trucks, after all!), so there is always a range in attire. We say, seize the opportunity to get gussied up!
Q. Will there be places to sit?
A. It's a dance, so most people spend the night dancing! There will be very limited open seating, however, availability it is not guaranteed. You may reserve a place to sit by purchasing a Reserved Table in advance of the event, in addition to your ticket, this will guarantee you and nine (9) of your best friends will have a table all night (the Reserved Table cost is $200).
Q. Will there be bathrooms?
A. Yes, porta-potties will be located on both sides of the bridge.
Q. What if there is bad weather?
A. The Dance on the Falls Bridge may be pushed to the rain date (September 23, 2017) if any of the following weather conditions exist: tornado warning, tornado watch, thunderstorm, other extreme weather conditions, or heavy rain. It is at the sole discretion of the Dance on the Falls Bridge committee whether to postpone or cancel the event. The committee will do everything possible to alert all guests of any changes to the schedule or date as far in advance as possible.
Q. Can I get a refund if I purchase a ticket but cannot attend?
A. All sales are final; no refunds will be offered.
