Come on out and support the Daughters of the Baobab in their 3rd Performing Arts Showcase!
The daughters, ages 7 - 16, have been engaged in a sisterhood intensive dance family in which
they study the following movement genres: Ballet, Contemporary modern, Hip hop, Afro-beat,
Traditional Yoruba (Orisha),and Traditional West African. The girls also engage in bi-monthly workshops
which focus on personal and collective growth and learning regarding African youth femininity, culture,
movementskills, character building, and so much more! Be apart of the unveiling of the Daughters’ hard work,
dedication, and growth as dancers!
